How likely are you to recommend Dr. Sumida?
Although he was an OD, he enlisted in the U.S. Army not as an eye doctor. He was in Vietnam with the 32nd Medical Depot working in the Optical Laboratory as an optician not as a Doctor of Optometry! On occasion when needed he would provide assistance to Capt. Goblirsch in the Optometry clinic. I am 3000 miles away from California but I would recommend the Doctor due to my having worked with him in Vietnam.
