Patient Reviews
Dec 29, 2023
Meredith Loftis has been family counselor for almost two years. I could not imagine getting through this time period without her. She listens to the children, looks all sides of the situation, and always puts the childrens best interest first and foremost. My child has learned self regulation skills, critical thinking skills, skills on how to process emotions, and lots of support and reassurance that loving both of his parents is absolutely normal, and that he should never be put in the middle. She has taught him how to advocate for himself to reduce the instances that he is put in an adult situation in family conflict. When asked who his 'trusted' people are outside of family Meredith is always at the top of the list. She does a great job of respecting his boundaries as well, and always asks his permission before she shares anything with me. She validates his feelings and thoughts, and helps be a sounding board for healthy thought patterns. She has been invaluable.
