How likely are you to recommend Dr. Desantis?
We saw Dr. DeSantis in conjunction after an inpatient stay at MWMC @LMH for my minor son. He finally accurately diagnosed him with a primary mental health disorder/bipolar disorder with a secondary substance abuse disorder. Prior to this throughout his hospitalizations doctors would only focus on the substance abuse, although we had been seeking treatment for my son since his early primary years/age 5. My son was finally able to receive treatment for the BPD and able to stay sober by being in a dual diagnosis program long-term. I am forever, grateful to Dr. D for keeping us involved in my son’s treatment, even as he reached the age of majority as he knew we were the stable force in our sons life.
