Patient Reviews
Apr 12, 2024
Dr Velanovich did my Nissen Fundoplication surgery in 2012 at TGH. I had been suffering from acid reflux most of my life. Over the years I have had all of my teeth replaced with crowns; bridges; and implants due to stomach acid wearing away my enamel. I also had a hiatal hernia. Sleeping a whole night through without reflux coming up causing me to throw up due to the reflux was a rarity. He repaired the hernia and fixed the reflux. The absolutely best surgery I have ever had! Thank you forever!

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
