Patient Reviews
Nov 17, 2020
I am writing as a nurse who used to work with Dr. Kenney. I value the perspective of those who work with providers because they get to see a side of providers that is not always shown to patients. I, and many other staff members were extremely disappointed that he left our health system. Kaiser Permanente is fortunate to have such a high quality physician in their ranks. Dr. Kenney was my favorite oncologist to work with because he took time to counsel patients, explain their diagnosis, next steps and was very supportive to patients and their families and/or support persons. He never made patients/families feel rushed nor did he minimize questions that might seem less important to others. He was also respectful of the staff caring for his patients, understanding that we all functioned as a team. I would not hesitate to send my family or friends to be under his care if they were diagnosed with a cancer he is experienced in treating.
