We researched before choosing Dr. Raviv. A friend was enthusiastic about her 92-year-old relative's experience, and we were impressed by the excellent reviews by grateful patients and references from other medical professionals (our internist, ophthamologist, surgical nurse).From the minute we walked into the office, people were eager to help. I wasn't the patient, but I was constantly asked if I was being helped or if I needed something.It was comforting to be invited in as Dr. Sherman did her evaluation. She was thorough in explaining her role. Dr. Raviv included me too. He could not have been more personable, warm, and professional. He offered several options for surgical correction of my husband's cataracts.We unhesitatingly chose the recommended option. When the first eye was done, and my husband was looking out the window, he got very emotional because he was seeing colors more vividly than he ever has.
