DR. JACOBS SAVED MY LIFE! I HAD GONE TO MY PRIMARY AND SEVERAL ORTHOPEDIC DOCTORS WITH A PAINFUL SHOULDER AND NO ONE COULD DIAGNOSE MY PROBLEM. THEY ALL SAID IT WAS PROBABLY ARTHRITIS. WELL IT WASN'T. I MADE AN APPOINTMENT WITH DR. JACOBS BECAUSE HE OPERATED ON MY SON WHO HAD A BAD ANKLE BREAK MANY YEARS BEFORE AND HE DID AN AWESOME JOB. WHEN HE SAW ME FOR MY APPOINTMENT HE ASKED ME THE PROPER QUESTIONS AND EXAMINED MY SHOULDER THEN DID AN X-RAY. AFTER I WAITED IN THE EXAM ROOM. HE CAME IN AND TOLD ME EXACTLY WHAT WAS WRONG. IT WAS A RARE CANCER! HE TOOK A LOT OF TIME TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING TO ME AND TOLD ME MY OPTIONS AND ALSO TOLD ME HE THOUGHT THE CHANCES IT WAS CONTAINED IN THE JOINT WERE GOOD.HE IS A BRILLIANT DOCTOR AND A VERY CARING AND KIND PERSON. THIS CANCER IS NOT CURABLE WITH CHEMO OR RADIATION IT MUST BE SURGICALLY REMOVED BEFORE IT SPREADS TOO FAR. I FOUND A SURGEON WHO SPECIALIZED IN THE NECESSARY PROCEDURE. THIS WAS 15 YEARS AGO.
