Patient Reviews
May 30, 2024
I recently moved and began working with a new neurologist (nothing bad about the new, but...). This has been eye opening at the amount of support, guidance and kindness from Dr. Mciver. She was exactly who and what I needed at the hardest time in my life. I first met her in 2017, after having neurological issues for over a year, without any answers, mostly excuses. When arriving at TGH I had just signed myself out of a local hospital after my first grand Mal seizure. She was so comforting and was able to provide answers. It was the beginning of a long process, but feeling heard and acknowledged, not just crazy was huge. Eventually I had surgery to resolve the issue and haven't had another seizure in 3 years. I was having them almost daily at that point. The brain is amazing and intimidating, having a doctor you're confident in and comfortable with is priceless!
