How likely are you to recommend Dr. Kalra?
I was extremely weary about seeing a psychiatrist after having terrible experiences with them in the past. However, I got to a point where I knew I needed to try again. I was delighted to discover Dr. Kalra, who spent an hour doing my intake. She singlehandedly turned my experience of psychiatry around. She made me feel understood, and explained everything thoroughly. She even allowed me to ask all my questions and answered them in a way I could understand. She put me on a very low dose of a medication and checked in with me to monitor my symptoms. We gradually increased the dose (slowly to avoid side effects) and it has changed my life. You can ignore the two one stars below and know you're in terrific hands with Dr. Kalra. She is brilliant, kind, and empathetic. I would be in a very different place in my life had I not met her.
