I have lived in San Antonio for nearly a half-century, and in that span of time I have aged in a less than kindly fashion with one chronic illness after another beginning in 1995. Over the years, I have been under the care of 3 primary physicians (each moving away or up and out of private practice, and 7 specialists dealing with one or more of m conditions. Dr. Sheila Pinkston came highly recommended by 2 of my primary doctors and 3 of my specialists; and I have been a patient of hers for 6-years. Through all of the industry changes, Covid-19, budget constraints, sales and acquisitions, and the vagaries of the the profession hidden from patients, I have found her knowledge, dedication, and ethics to be beyond reproach. Am I her only patient? No ... but when she taps on the door and walks in to the exam room, it's hard to feel otherwise.
