How likely are you to recommend Dr. Poonia?
Dr. P did spent a full hour on my initial consultation fully explaining to me the medical attention needed and different outcomes that may occur with surgery for a massive thyoid goiter. Her calm nature and willingness to fully explain the benefits and risks of a full thyroid removal versus a partial removal put me at ease. She included other specialists when necessary and worked very well to provide a positive outcome. After surgery, she was very attentive to my needs and spent quality time with me when making her daily rounds. Likewise, Dr. P ensured I was comfortable being discharged before proceeding. She also went out of her way to make sure the incision site and stitches were selected to provide the best cosmetic appearance after surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Poonia to anyone who wants a passionate, sharp, surgeon who communicates very well.
