Patient Reviews

I saw Dr. Kapur for a large abdominal hernia that resulted from a previous surgery. Dr. Kapur was professional, warm and caring. She answered every question, was firm in my need to lose weight for a safe surgery, and I went into the surgery confident of the outcome. Medicine is not an exact science. Complications can occur though no fault of the doctor. How those complications are handled is what matters. When I had minor complications Dr. Kapur was very attentive. She called several times. Something no surgeon had ever done before. She was always available to see me quicklywhen I called. Don't expect to give Dr. Kapur simple answers to her questions. If she asks if you are exercising she won't be satisfied with a simple yes. She is very thorough and will want details of what and how frequent. I would highly recommend Dr. Kapur to anyone needing a surgery like this. She is, in the words of one of the nurses who treated me, not only a very good surgeon but a really nice person.
