Patient Reviews
Feb 09, 2024
Dr. Lord acted more like a psychologist. I came to see her in despair about some physical issues I was having -- very complicated issues. She listened with incredible patience, depth, and acuity. She was able to say exactly what I needed to hear, and say it from the depths of her medical knowledge, so that I could take healing into my own hands. One day after seeing her, I did what needed to be done, and I am immediately on the road to recovery. She just asked me a number of simple, but very astute questions -- had I tried this? had I done this? And she assured me I wasn't going to hurt myself. (Of course, she had reviewed all my x-rays and chart notes beforehand). Wow, what an experience, liberating and truly hearing. I am really, truly grateful to her.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
