How likely are you to recommend Dr. Kohn?
The task of finding a new mental health care provider is always overwhelming, but Dr. Kohn quickly became my favorite (after being recommended by my previous favorite). He really listens and does his best to tailor your treatment according to your needs. Sometimes that means medication and/or supplements. Normally I am wary of the supplement industry, but his recommendations are backed by science and always reasonable - e.g., don't expect any profound immediate changes but they can help you feel a bit more optimized over time. He is is always polite and professional, and also very direct (no coddling), which isn't for everyone. It just depends what kind of style you need. Sometimes he will have one of his residents conduct the session while he observes, though he'll always ask your consent first. I will go to him for as long as he's in practice, which I hope is a long time. It's clear he loves his work.
