Dr Eden is a highly skilled eye surgeon. He did a great job on my cataract. Were it not for Cornea Consultants of Albany, which he is a part of, he’d deserve 5 stars, hands down. To see DrEden, you must deal with this outfit. Wait times can be very long, as other reviewers have mentioned. Also, the practice relies on “techs” to do virtually everything that used to be the exclusive domain of ophthalmologists only. Don’t mistake these people as nurses or PAs, because they’re not. No PAs or RNs here folks. These techs are not medical professionals, just people taught to do various tasks. I found the ones in this practice generally rude, improperly trained, and intemperate. After 1 eye was done, I had enough of them, and you will, too.

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
