Patient Reviews
Jul 14, 2022
A week after receiving my referral for my mammogram, I found a lump in my breast. I am 62, my mom had cancer, I have implants & dense breast tissue. The technician completed the mammogram, then Dr. R scheduled an ultra sound to be safe. Following the ultra sound, Dr. R explained he thought the lump was a piece of scar tissue that had come loose. Because he could feel the lump, and the ultra sound couldn't tell us definitively, Dr. R ordered an MRI for me 4 days later. Dr. R said to stop by the breast center after my MRI for the results if I didn’t mind waiting until he could see me. I waited 5 minutes before he saw me and he reconfirmed everything was just fine. He said there is no reason to remove the lump unless it bothers you, which it does only slightly. He was available and kind. He treated me with respect and care every step of the way. Thank you Dr. Reitherman, you are awesome! A huge shout out to my primary physician Dr. Andrew Meleynek for recommending Dr. R.

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
