How likely are you to recommend Dr. Hawkins?
Love Dr. Hawkins! He asks questions to get to know you, your medical history, and your current issues. Any time I’ve raised a concern he does his absolute best to get to the bottom of it. I’ve also taken my older boys to him and he’s been just as through and understanding. Then, I made my husband make an appointment with him. Dr. Hawkins has taken excellent care to cover all bases with multiple issues. Only issues I have experienced - 1 - if he orders any test from radiology, you’ll likely have to call the hospital and keep checking to see if the procedure was approved and then make your appointment. Lab tests you simply go right down to the lab. 2 - the hospital’s new setup for check in and check out can be confusing. I also feel like the communication at check out is insufficient, especially if he has ordered multiple things. They’re not clear about how to get prescriptions, get labs, get radiology scheduled, or the procedure for any special testing or monitoring devices.
