Patient Reviews
Dec 29, 2023
I had hernia repair surgery with Dr. Randal Zhou in November. When we first met I was impressed with Dr. Zhou’s calm and capable manner. We discussed his plan for surgery and he was forthright about options and outcomes. He thought he could do the entire repair robotically, but since I had a very large incisional hernia there was the possibility that part of the operation would be open surgery. When we talked after surgery Dr. Zhou said that the surgery went well and it was all done robotically. I was thrilled since my recovery would be easier. My pain level was quite manageable and I am right where Dr. Zhou said I would be at 6 weeks. A few weeks after surgery I went for a follow up with Dr. Zhou. I was pleased with how much time he gave me. As I left his office I talked with one of his staff members and said how happy I was with Dr. Zhou. She said, “We are lucky to have him! He’s nice, kind and BRILLIANT.” I agree with her!
