I don’t really ever write reviews, but Dr. Patel has made a profound impact on my life. This is a doctor that truly genuinely cares about his patients, and I wish all doctors were like Dr. Patel. I had a scar on my eye that was not only uncomfortable, but obstructed my vision. I have seen a few eye doctors since this occurred, one doctor told me to live with it, and another doctor from Cornea Consultants of the Capital Region said PTK would be my next option after trying a scleral lens. Unfortunately, the capital region does not have the special type of laser needed for PTK. I found this out by calling almost every eye facility in the capital region with all doctors telling me they don’t do this procedure. But when I called Albany Eye Associates, even though they did not have the equipment to perform PTK either, the medical receptionist called me back and told me that Dr. Patel wanted to help me and had other options, so I made an appointment. He was extremely informative and I underw
