How likely are you to recommend Dr. Raj?
When I was looking for a PCP at then-St Agnes Hospital, friends advised me specifically to avoid Dr. Raj, although they could never quite explain why I should do so. I chose her as my PCP and I couldn't be happier with the results. I have found her to be a no-nonsense care provider who does not sugar-coat the truth by telling me what I want to hear but what I need to hear and what to do to get results. Granted, she's not a hand-holder, but that's not something I've ever wanted, needed or expected from a physician. Check your expectations—If you need someone to tell you what you'd like to hear instead of what's good for you, find another PCP. Her staff is also quite friendly and have always responded promptly to any concerns I've expressed.
