How likely are you to recommend Dr. Chacko?
My father was admitted to hospital for nearly 2 weeks before Dr. Chacko was assigned to his unit for rounds. During that two weeks, absolutely nothing had been done in regards to my father's ongoing health concerns. Within 2 hours of Dr. Chacko reviewing his chart and listening to our concerns, he had tests, evaluations and consults ordered that showed up immediately the next morning. He was able to do more for us in 24 hours than the previous two attendings even offered. Dr. Chacko actually cares about his patients and fights for them to receive the best care available. If you are unhappy with your hospital stay (you likely will be), ask to see Dr. Chacko. I don't know if that will get you anywhere, but it is worth a try if you are seeking better medical opinions. I think we got lucky that we happened to be on his floor and in his unit. I can't thank him or recommend him enough. He is truly in the right profession.
