Patient Reviews
Feb 22, 2023
My husband went to the hospital thinking he had an upper respiratory infection. It turned out that he was very ill and on the brink of death. Several specialists treated him throughout his 14-day stay. Some were pulmonologists, hematologists, nephrologists, infectious disease, hematology, gastroenterology, cardiology, and Cardiothoracic(Dr. Walinsky). Dr. Walinsky led the team, which ultimately saved my husband's life. My husband's mitral valve was replaced, and internal bleeding, blood clots, and undetected infection were treated. Dr. Walinsky'd decision to perform surgery not only treated the infection by revealed a blood clot in my husband's heart. The road has been challenging, but ultimately my husband is alive and can be a dad and husband to our family. Saying thank you seems like so little, so letting readers know just how Skilled and AMAZING he is coming to mind. We also owe much thanks to the UHC team and especially Dr. Walinsky!!! THANK YOU!!!

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
