How likely are you to recommend Dr. Van Steyn Jr?
I was very apprehensive about getting another hip replacement, but my pain was getting worse. Years ago, I had the other hip replaced and faced months of agonizing pain during the recovery process. Dr. Van Steyn told me about a new procedure that could possibly give me a better outcome. I was a bit skeptical, so I took several weeks to review the new process and review other orthopedic docs in the area. I came back to Dr. Van Stein because he had a good conversational approach to explaining what I could expect and instilled confidence in his ability to give me back my mobility. The results of the procedure were surprising. I was up and walking the same day with little to no pain. Four days after the operation, I felt stable enough to give up my cane. I'm now two weeks out and barely feel like I had gone through a life changing operation. Dr. Van Stein and his staff can't be thanked enough. I'm well on my way to resuming my life as I previously remember - no pain and no restrictions.
