How likely are you to recommend Dr. Bassiouni?
I was having problems with long heavy cycles. She took the time to get to know me as a person. She never made me feel rushed or like my problems are trivial. She took a detailed family history and extensive personal medical history. She had me try the usual protocols and we tried to figure out solutions together. Ultimately, after a few tried and failed options…I had a hysterectomy. She explained the process in detail and she was even able to save my ovaries so I didn’t need hormone replacement. I had some post surgical complications where my body did not want to heal properly (not her fault). She saw me multiple times in office and made numerous phone calls to check in on me. She was able to help my recovery along by a couple of simple in office procedures. It was not the easiest road getting to this point but so grateful for Dr. Bassiouni and her nurses. They really do care about you as a patient and will do whatever is necessary to get you back to good health.
