Patient Reviews
Nov 25, 2023
If Dr Novotny were available, I’d want her to be my primary care physician. By the time I met her in the ER at Ochsner’s main campus, she had studied my medical history with Ochsner and some LCMC physicians, then listened attentively to me about my infection that had returned a day after finishing antibiotics. She ordered several tests, and administered an IV with a different drug, then sent a prescription for another to my pharmacy. My results were on MyChart before I went home. She was caring, attentive, and meticulous.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
