Patient Reviews
Mar 16, 2024
My wife was a patient of Dr. Hermanowicz from 2008 to 2013 when he was the medical director of the Traub Parkinson's Center in Rancho Mirage. In 2023 we learned that he had returned to practicing in Rancho Mirage and returned to his care. My wife after having Early Onset Parkinson's for 23 years was showing more signs of progression. On the first visit he went through a complete diagnostic and then scheduled a follow up in 2 weeks. At that time, he went slowly through her regimen of prescriptions and totally mixed things up. She is functioning so much better today. The dyskinesia in almost non-existent and she no longer crashes and burns in the early evenings. He did recommend a new drug on our first visit, but insurance won't cover it. Dr. Hermanowicz is very knowledgeable and has done many clinical studies on PD. He is also so much more relaxed now that he retired from UCI and then came back to practice. We would 100% recommend him for PD patients.
