How likely are you to recommend Dr. Rizk?
My experience with Dr. Rizk and his team was extremely positive. He performed a lobectomy, and was spot-on in describing what he expected to find. He was patient with questions and thorough in answering them. The surgery was straightforward and I felt very well cared for.Lisa, Dr. Rizk's nurse navigator, provided an excellent complement to his surgical skills. She explained what to realistically expect, managed coordination with a follow-up oncologist and made it easy to understand how to reach her and her team when needed. The team's care while I was in the hospital was exemplary. I appreciated being in a teaching hospital, where there was a team of doctors to keep an eye on my case. Their visits were cheerful and informative, and they answered questions clearly. Combined with the fantastic hospital nursing staff, my visit was a lot more pleasant than it might have been.Having a cancer diagnosis is no fun. Having a kind and competent team of healthcare providers softens the blow!
