How likely are you to recommend Dr. Nakamura?
I would highly recommend Dr. Nakamura at UM. I went to her on my own, without a referral, for an initial visit including a full body skin screening. She is professional, friendly, listens, asks the right questions, and gives clear answers. I was very comfortable during the exam. She was thoughtful and considerate of my comfort level, thorough in the examination. She treated a lesion on my nose, and answered my questions about other minor skin concerns. She used both the medical terminology and put explanations in simple layperson terms so I completely understood everything she did. I now understand what types of markings I have on my skin and whether or not they are worrisome (thank goodness, they are not). Answering my questions regarding quality skin care products that are readily available in stores, I found out I am using good stuff already, no changes needed. I did not feel rushed. I liked her demeanor and professionalism, and I will return to her for many years.
