Patient Reviews
Jun 05, 2024
I was diagnosed the end of February, 2024, with cancer of the Parotid Glands and within a couple of weeks underwent a 6 hour operation followed by a short recuperation period prior to being set up for radiation. I met Dr. Rao at the end of April, 2024, when I started my 30 radiation treatments. In a very short period of time I went from no cancer to full on treatments and I was frazzled! Dr Rao is a small sea of calm in all the chaos. He has a very personal 'bed side manner', and that along with his professionalism makes for, in my opinion, a Doctor I could rely upon. Dr Rao, along with all those working the Radiation Oncology Department have very positive attitudes that helps patients accept the reality of Oncology while treating them. I don't know if my experience is representative of the department, but after talking to different patients I think it is!
