Very knowledgeable but explains in terminology patient can understand. Coordinates care with whole care team. Always someone available to reach if needed. Very compassionate and caring. Individualizes treatment plan. Involves family in plan of care. Helps patient and family through a difficult diagnosis. . We traveled to MDA in Houston initially, but after researching and initial visits, we chose Dr Du. We are very fortunate to have this physician in our area who specializes in rare diseases.
