Patient Reviews

Dr. Lichtenstein is a genius. He ran blood work on my husband due to past surgeries in his early 20’s and his suspicions were confirmed. Alpha 1 Antitripsen disorder that is genetically passed by one or both parents. He had my husband contact his siblings and his sister, who lives out of state, was tested through a pulmonologist. She too has this disorder. My husband, who Dr. Lichtenstein referred to pulmonologist at MUSC, typed him and thank goodness he has the type that is less dangerous than the the other type. This disorder can be passed to your children and his brother has a child. Dr. Lichtenstein is MUSC’s best in Internal Medicine. And so many illnesses I have been now diagnosed with, he was my champion. All his patients are lucky to have him as their doctor. His knowledge of the human body is amazing and he makes sure to have you checked out by those physicians in the field he knows can work with you. I hope he never retires. There is no one better than him.
