How likely are you to recommend Dr. Tucker?
When I received my cancer diagnosis, and I needed an immediate hysterectomy, I tried to find out about Dr. Katherine Tucker, the surgeon I was referred to by my local gynecologist. I couldn’t find out any information about Dr. Tucker., so my family and I met with her and we were impressed. Even so, it bothered me that I couldn’t find any information, so I ran to Duke to get a second opinion. I had to choose my surgeon quickly, because of the aggressiveness of my situation. I was on the fence, but when the skilled, seasoned surgeon at Duke spoke very highly of Dr. Tucker and said that it may be easier for me to be closer to home, I chose Dr. Tucker. I’m so thrilled that I chose Dr. Tucker. Her skill and tenaciousness proved life changing, because my pathology ended up being very difficult. It required numerous reviews. Three different pathology teams were necessary for final evaluation of a rare problem. She was relentless and that made all the difference.
