How likely are you to recommend Dr. Avila?
Dr. Avila was thoughtful, kind, listened closely, and helped me adjust my medications until I found something that worked. He was extremely knowledgable about my options and I don't think I would have found the new medication that worked without him. Overlake is a terrible hospital for billing and scheduling, so be warned there, but I had a great experience with Dr. Avila. I only stopped seeing him because he went in-patient. He's easily the best psychiatrist I've seen. I imagine going in-patient is the source of all of these over-the-top negative reviews, too.
