Patient Reviews
Mar 01, 2023
Dr. Iuorno has been extremely patient and kind with my mom (age 92) who has been dealing with near complete loss of sight due to advanced glaucoma. The medical situation is complicated, but he took the time and did a great job of explaining the potential risks and benefits of surgery. He did this several times for her. Loss of sight is so very difficult. He saw her maybe 3-4 times over 2 years and in the end, due to her fragile sight, he recommended against doing her surgery except as a last resort. We trust him completely and, IMO, you should too. He put her needs first. More importantly, he helped her so much to understand accept her condition and be at peace with the difficult decision we all had to make. It was very hard for all of us involved. I will always be grateful to him. Thank you Dr. I.
