My 81 year old father had to visit the Columbus ER. Even though we were there for over 4 hours the care was very professional. I left for a few minutes and during that time the doctor, Joe Butler Jr., came in and spoke with my dad. When I returned he said he really liked the doctor that came in that gave him the X-ray results etc. He said Dr. Butler was just a regular guy wearing scrubs that seemed to really know his stuff. He is new in town and asked if Dr Butler Jr. has an office so he could make an appointment with him. My dad was really impressed and that is saying a great deal coming from my dad. It would appear that this Dr.’s bedside manner along with his medical knowledge has won my dad over 100%.He would recommend him to anyone needing a good Dr.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
