How likely are you to recommend Dr. Mustapha?
We learned of Dr. Mustapha in 2019 after my 86-year-old Mom was discharged from Mercy Hospital in Muskegon on the day she was supposed to have surgery on her foot. The doctors didn't feel she would survive surgery so cancelled the surgery. She had open wounds on her toes and her pain was incredible. We were told when Mom's pain was unbearable, they would schedule amputation. Within two weeks we learned of Dr. Mustapha. The staff were kind enough to squeeze her in immediately. He took one look at her foot and stated she was days from gangrene. They scheduled her late the following day for the first procedure. She was back numerous times over the next two weeks for ultrasounds and additional procedures. He gave us his cell number in the event we needed to talk to him. We were never promised his procedure would cure her but if successful, amputation could be averted. My mom is 91 and just returned from wintering in Florida. Her wounds healed. She uses a walker pain free.
