You don’t need an appointment (you couldn’t make one if you wanted to) and there will be a wait… but Dr. Wishik is THE BEST internist around. He is very thorough - he does blood work (multiple types to look for a lot of stuff), he does EKGs, ECGs, and chest X-rays (for a first line of defense for lung cancer), Pap smears, prostate exams, and more. He doesn’t push pills on you, he really does take 30-45mins with you to discuss your health and issues you might have. He doesn’t just “write off” any issues you might bring up. He looks in to them to make sure they aren’t anything big. He’s hands down one of the best docs. He’s proactive and found multiple health issues for my family members and I in very early stages (cancers, heart issues, blood pressure issues). Go to him, look past the long wait time and lack of appointments. It’s worth it.
