I have struggled for decades with illness and multiple diagnosis, never fully ever getting a substantial diagnosis nor treatment from a plethora of specialists and physicians. After moving back to the Sherman Tx area from Plano, to retire on our home place, my husband and I found a new physician in Dr. Jennifer Laing at Sherman Wellness Center. We have now been with her for several years and have found the missing piece fo our puzzles. Not long ago she sent me to my optometrist for an exam and for the life of me I couldnt see the relation to my ailments and my eyes. First thing out of the Dr. of Optometry's mouth??? Looks like Lupus to me. After thirty five years I had a diagnosis instead of a symptom. It's not easy...however it is easier to KNOW and to be given actual treatment for my auto immune disease than treatment for the symptoms My husband has found the same exact fullfillment in his treatment from Dr. Laing. We are so very blessed that God sent us to the best last. I

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
