I have a complicated autoimmune history. I have been treated at UCSD and The Cleveland Clinic without success. The Director of Neurology at UCSD strongly urged me to see Dr. Gelfand, who he, who once served as a Director at both Cleveland and Harvard, referred to him as one of the best in the country. I'm so grateful that Dr. Gelfand agreed to take me on. Within 3 months, his team identified the cause of the debilitating pain that has plagued me for 4 years and saved me from a lifetime of agony. Not only is he a phenomenal Dr, he's a genuinely caring person with wonderful bedside manner. I couldn't be more grateful for him.
