Patient Reviews
Apr 14, 2019
Dr. Joo is a warm, compassionate, bright physician who cares about her patients. She took extra time out of her schedule to make sure I felt heard. She patiently explained my skin problem in simple words and surgically removed my skin lesion in the most gentle way possible. While another reviewer noted that Dr. Joo was late to their appointment, this is the fault of the UC Davis administration for overbooking/overworking their doctors and has nothing to do with Dr. Joo. Thank you Dr. Joo!

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
