Patient Reviews
Nov 20, 2019
I went in for severe dog bites of right arm and both legs. I was bleeding severely and in shock. (pack of dogs) The ER made me wait without even seeing a triage nurse for an hour! I was bleeding all over the lobby and only had a blanket covering my upper body. I was scared. The clerk was unempathetic. Please may I go back--I’m bleeding badly. The nurses acted like they hated their job and patients. The ONLY persons with any caring and intelligence were the ER doctor and guy who did dressings. Dr. Mount kept me calm as we talked about our own dogs. But then the nurses never numbed the wounds with topical lidocaine...Never cleaned the wounds! Dog bites! So when the bandage guy came in he just slapped on a dressing. What about getting them cleaned? He didn’t know.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
