Patient Reviews

Not once but TWICE Dr. Tsui has taken emergency measures to preserve the vision of our special needs son. In 2019 my son suffered a detached retina leaving him totally blind. Dr. Tsui didn't want to wait until Friday to operate and pushed for us to see Dr. Hubschman on Wednesday. Jennifer (her amazing staff) cut through red tape and arranged an emergency surgery at UCLA Wasserman. Vision was saved thanks to their efforts. Now 4 years later my son had yet another incident with that same eye, and again Dr. Tsui and Jennifer moved heaven and earth to get a next day surgery at UCLA Wasserman. Not only that, but Dr. Tsui coordinated with additional eye surgeons to review the entire eye and because of this we were made aware of additional issues that will require our attention. Thankfully, the diagnosis was made before problems set it. I can't thank her her and Jennifer enough for what they have brought to the table. If you get the opportunity to have either Dr Tsui or Dr Hubschman as an eye surgeon just know you are in the best hands possible.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
