Dr. Massey and his team at Thomas Jefferson Hospital are truly miracle workers. They just performed a heart transplant on my brother a few days ago. I am in awe at how well he is doing. Dr. Massey was calm and reassuring in speaking to us after performing one of the most intense surgeries imaginable. His team kept us updated throughout the surgery. My brother has had wonderful care from all of the health care providers he has encountered. We are eternally grateful. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
