This is a well deserved glowing 5 star review for Dr Helen Perakis. Yesterday Dr Perakis and her team operated on my wife for 5 hours. My wife needed a re-do of her breast reconstruction following double mastectomy. A very challenging task. She had no breast tissue to work with, very little fat and previously shifted and excessively mobile pocket of old implant and hypertrophic poorly positioned scar. My wife needed her double mastectomy at a relatively young age. She is very active, exercises regularly and fashion and image conscious. She was plagued by her constantly shifting implant and pain. This is not an easy task to fix. Yesterday Dr Perakis told me the surgery should be about 3 hours. It took 5 hours. 5 hours Dr Perakis and her team spent on patiently getting it right for my wife. She did a wonderful job. Her demeanor, skill and attention to detail are truly special. We are eternally grateful to her. I am a physician myself and recognize when a coll
