How likely are you to recommend Dr. Shaikh?
I can't imagine that it does not hurt for a doctor to give a patient and family bad news. Dr. Shaikh was able to get my wife through over four times the typical survival time for her type of cancer. However, he was very brave and was very honest with us when the cancer had progressed too far to treat. He let us know that any further attempt to treat her would not help and would be agonizing. He could not have been kinder. The family is very grateful.
