How likely are you to recommend Dr. Alami?
Following a SEVERE ankle injury in October 2023, I was fortunate enough to be able to see Dr. Alami. Even from the outset, when she gave a plain language guide to what would occur, she was attentive, responsive, and well-attuned to patient needs. Her surgical skills were outstanding, making healing and recovery very doable, notwithstanding the necessity for gradual recovery from such an injury and surgery. She and her staff (Maggie!) were always available, knew when and to whom to refer - in my case, to an excellent wound specialist to assist in treatment - and treated me and my husband like partners in my treatment team. Her care has been such that it looks as if, a year later (the projected recovery timeline), against what we thought could be, we will be able to take our 50th-anniversary trip in October. All that, and she's just a really nice person as well. I am happy to refer anyone to Dr. A. and her team at Reconstructive Orthopedics - Virtua.
