Patient Reviews
Apr 07, 2023
My youngest child had dental trauma after an experience with an unkind dentist and a mouthful of numbing shots and then our next local dentist wanted to use an hour of sedation to aggressively treat cavities in his baby teeth. At that point, I decided to have a consultation with Dr. Myers (2.5 hours from my home) to get his thoughts on treating my child. He agreed with me that aggressive treatment was not necessary and we made a plan to fill one cavity without any shots and then to continue to monitor the small cavities in his baby teeth. He was kind and supportive while filling the cavity and explained every step to my son to relieve him of his anxiety. My little one left that appointment with new found confidence in his ability to tolerate dental procedures. Yesterday, I took my older children for their first cleaning with Dr. Myers and we we all agreed that it is well worth the drive to receive thoughtful, compassionate dental care.
