How likely are you to recommend Dr. Umanzor Velasquez?
This man is one of the most compassionate doctors I've ever met. I was terrified during my first experience with childbirth. Someone messed up my epidural, causing excruciating pain down my spine. None of the doctors believed me. They all kept saying it's not supposed to happen. It's probably in your head. It's probably just a contraction. I honestly thought I was going to die that day. It is this man that took the time out to listen to me when no one else would and he believed me when none of the other doctors would. He didn't have to. But he did. He calmed me down and convinced me to get a spinal and they proceeded with my C-section. He took the time out to see me as a person and give me courage - one human being to another. If I had a boy that day I swear I would have named him Elvis. This was three years ago. I never got the chance to thank you. But when I look at my healthy baby girl I think of you and pray for you.
