Dr Kasai was the one on call when I had a bowel obstruction. She was very straight forward with the details when I met her in the ER, and told me exactly why I need emergency surgery, and that this would be done right away because of how sick I was. Even though things all happened quickly, she held my hand literally and figuratively. This is the third time I have had surgery for this and nobody else took that kind of time. The surgery went good and she was able to get the scar tissue to save my small intestines. Just watch out because she talks fast! But every word with a smile, her heart and kindness and honesty. I am so blessed that our paths crossed.
