This review is long overdue. I am an old patient of Dr Gomori's and my biggest regret is not having written this review after having had an emergency appendectomy in 2010. I was a fairly new patient of Dr Gomori's at the time and she did not know me well when I had to have an emergency operation. I'll never forget how she sprung into action to make sure I was with the best surgeon for this operation and in the best hands possible. She learned I was in Bellevue hospital and marched down there to make sure I was in the best care and not allow anyone there to take any steps in moving forward with an operation without her consent and input. She was an incredible advocate for me. She put me with the best surgeon and my healthy condition, the reason for the successful surgery and my well being has much to do with the care and attention she provided. She has character and compassion. These traits will always be my number 1 reasons for choosing a primary care doctor.
